Hi everyone! My name is Kenji Ryu, and I am a freshman Finance major at the University of Texas at Austin (Class of '26).
STA 301 (Introduction to Data Science) is probably one of the most difficult business courses at UT Austin, especially for freshmen students. However, while R might be difficult to use, it is absolutely critical for future business studies.Â
On this website, you will find simple, bite-sized video demonstrations and practice problems for RStudio. I will be adding to this videos with time, eventually covering all seventeen lessons of STA 301!
In accordance with UT Austin's STA 301 curriculum, we will be using Dr. James Scott's 2021 textbook Data Science in R: A Gentle Introduction.
